Re: Introducing The Smokey Mountain Cruisers

Dan - I was crawling around under the truck yesterday inspecting the carnage from the rock kisses I recieved and it appears to have taken the beating well. The only thing I found wrong was a torn CV boot on passenger side. Guess I will be tearing the front down before Harlan now.

Re: Introducing The Smokey Mountain Cruisers

Well, when you go on something like you did with the setup you currently have and only come away with that all you can say is toyota! When do you plan to do the sas?

It will still be sometime before I get the SAS done. I want to just start stock piling the parts for it.

No E-mail here either
Check your spam, it had a large attachment and that might have red flagged it as being spam.

Heather booked our room at Harlin, looking forward to the trip. I am loving the lift, ride is far better than stock and all the body sway is gone. Still on the fence between KM2's and TOYO Mt's at this point.
I really like the KM2's and would love to have a set.

I am leaning toward the KM2s as well. I like the Toyos but they are a bit more and not many dealers around here have them. I priced out 8 different places in my area and the KM2 285/70/17 ranges from $249.00-$319.00 each, mounted and balanced. FOr rubber that is gonna wear out, YIKES!!!!!

The lift is looking great! It wont be long before you get to test it out.

Thanks much, love the better ride and no more body roll on road. Cant wait to get it all dirty. I bent up the outr tubes and cut the inner tubes for the sliders today. If the weather holds out I will be cutting the balance of the smaller parts and hopefully start welding tomorrow.

I wish I had fabrication skills. There is no telling what I would do. And save a lot of money also.
