I'll throw Maxxis Big Horns as a tire to consider. You can get them for a much better price for either of the above mentioned. Maxxis might not carry the same clout as BFG but they make a great offroad line of tires that are tough and aggressive.
I liked them better than the Hankooks I currently have on my FJC.
I never really thought about them for the FJ. I know they make great ATV tires. I will see if anyone local might have them. Thanks for the input Phil. Have you been putting your pipr bender to work? Look forward to seeing you at Harlan.

I guess the name Flying Brick makes sense to me now!
I would love to have that house. Everybody around knows it. All you do is say the spaceship house and everyone knows were you are talking about. That thing has been around forever. I guess now it has finally made the national news. The name "Flying Brick" did come from a movie about space though. And this movie has the word space in the title......

Nope... It was Space Cowboys. It's when they told Tommy Lee Jones he could not land the Space Shuttle manually because it was like trying to land a flying brick. It just kind of stuck in my head. And since the FJ is a big non-aerodynamic square I figured it was like driving a flying brick.
