Yes, there is room up against the fire wall. I have also seen a couple threads where the second battery is installed with next to the OEM bat. I plan to put it opn the passenger side up against the fire wall. THere is already enough weight on the driver's side.
This is beginning to sound like I need to make a trip over to your farm for a battery mod day.

It would be just as easy to do two at once, I'd be happy to help. We don't live at the farm, only the horses and the barn cat living there. We had a tenant but that did not work out well. Looking for another tenant at the moment. Currently live in a rental house while we are working on the house at the new place. Cant wait to move in, paying on 3 places is killing us.

Re: Introducing The Smokey Mountain Cruisers

I just want to give a big thanks to Wendy (Jamesart86's wife) for the wonderful donations that she made to the Kids Raffle for the 2008 Summit. I came home this morning to a box full of goodies that the kids are going to love.

I've said it time and time again, we have some wonderful club members and it never ceases to amaze me the kindness and generosity that is displayed by them.

Thanks Wendy!

Hi Montana.

We would love to have you join us on a ride when you are back this way. We went thru New Mexico last year on our way to the Summit and the views were awesome. Can't wait to go thru there again this year. Look us up at the Summit. There will be several members of the SMC there.

Thanks NCFJ! The last time we visited my grand parents, we went over to Asheville and toured the Biltmore Estates. It was awesome! If we get that way again I'll give you a shout. MT

Yep I'll look you up at the Summit for sure. Nashville is a little ways from my grand parents (I looked it up on the map), but if we get out that way we'll run some trails. Here in the Four Corners it's rock crawling. If you get out this way we'll show you some rocks and if we get back that way you can show us some forrest. See you in July! MT
