I'm the same way. I have always wanted to visit the desert to see how dry it is. Also to see a catus like the ones in the roadrunner cartoons.

I have friends that come from up north and never seen a deer. We will be driving and see one and get excited and all I can think is you better not run out in front of me.

We are planning on coming to Colorado next year. I think we might leave early to go to the grand canyon. I think we may stop by the hoover damn also. Question is it a god damn or man made.

Well then with the exception of last year (major drought) you would LOVE Tennessee! Myself, being a man of Nordic descent (originaly from Minnesota), I loathe the heat and most of all, the humidity. More to the point, I hate the super high dew points we get here which in turn produce humidity. We'd love to have you though.

Make sure it's over here on the east side of Tennessee though with all of us cool people

Of course I'm partial to the Knoxville area. If you want/like/need a bigger city, here or the Chattanooga area is more applicable. If more small town, Johnson City will do just fine. And it's actually like getting three for one in the Tri-Cities area: Johnson City/Kingsport/Bristol
