They can not figure out what's wrong. They order some parts and think they might have figured it out but they want be in until tuesday. I have already put 850 miles on this camry and we are driving it to atlanta tomorrow. That will be around 300-400 more. At least it saving me on gas.

Hi Terry

Was in Brentwood this morning at the hardware store and a VB Cruiser parked nect to me. Turned out to be the gut that owns the window tinting shop. Wound up getting the front windows tinted and a sun strip across the top of the windshield. It's just money............

Ed
Welcome aboard. If you see a '07 Black Cherry in Brentwood, it's probably me. I work in Maryland Farms across the street from the Land Rover / Cadillac Dealer and laugh every day at all the Land Rovers and Range Rovers that I see being towed in every day.

Sounds like you might have to put a lift on that Camry and bring it to Harlan.
I promise to join SMC soon as I am posting in the SMC forum.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make the ride in Harlan. Will be in Salt Lake City that weekend at a conference.

When it shifts from 3-4 and 4-5 the whole FJ starts to vibrate. They think that it is either the torque converter or one of the cylinders is skipping. What ever it is it is not showing up on the system. The dealer has drove it and felt it. They call me friday and said that the idler pulley was also bad and that they were going to replace it also.

Hopefully it's not the torque converter. That's some pretty serious transmission work. There was a recall on the torque converter for my wife's Jeep that we had to have done last year. Was not trilled about that but her Jeep seems to run fine now. Hopefully they will have an answer for you soon.

How about Brimstone May 17th? I think I can swing that weekend and possible pick up my lift and tires that weekend from Rough Country.

Re: Brimstone OHV

I guess everyone has something going on that weekend, but if anyone is interested let me know soon so I can plan a schedule for my restaurant.

I'm sure we could be talked into it...either that weekend or another. (Will be out of town the next 2 weekends following though.)

We will talk it over this weekend in Harlan with everyone else and see what they say. There are several things going on in May, but I think we can make this work.
