Re: Mountain Side ORP

He wasn't the only one that got stuck...
You know, it just wouldn't seem right if Edward didn't have to get pulled or pushed or winched at some point during the day.

(For the record, I told him not to go that way! )

This place has some serious hills...magically, they don't look so bad in the pictures:

Re: Mountain Side ORP

What A Great Day!! (exept For Getting Stuck That One Little Ol Time) Note To Self: After Three Tries, Move To Another Grove Otherwise You'll Just Dig Yourself A Hole. I Was Trying To Get Up What Seemed Like A Vertical Wall. I Tried About Five Times And Did Not Realize That I Was Just Burying The Back End Deeper And Deeper.

It Was A Good Place To Ride With Several Different Levels Of Difficulty. It's Not That Big Of A Place But Good Enough. Great Pix Misty!! Now Show One Of You!!! She Was Awesome!! Ed Is Up For Any Challenge And Has No Fear! T-girl Was Having A Great Time. Show The Picture Of T Sitting On The Rock.

Re: Mountain Side ORP

I think we all slid down this hill:

There was one section of the park called "Goosbumps" that was half hill climb, half huge rocks to maneuver around and over:

The view from the top:

Through the mud:

The best pic we took all day!

Now if I can figure out how to load the vids...

I'm jealous. Looks like alot of fun was had today.

This another reason why I wish we all lived closer together, so we could do spur of the moment things like this.

Great pics.

Re: Mountain Side ORP

First I would like to say that the onlt reason I got stuck is because every one else was a pude and would not try that run. I also think that I could have backed back down but did not want to chance it so I got a little bitty tug from Kyle.

Anyway, I had a blast. It was not a huge park but to get 4-5 hours out of it is very doable. It was nice to meet your brother in-law Kyle. I think that he might have gotten in over his head, but knew when to back out. If every one saw that tt in person it would have won the dritiest ever. Kyle did a great job out there and had an almost no fear additude.

Re: Mountain Side ORP

I spent the past 4 hours using the pressure washer on it. Then I spent the next hour on using it on my drive way! That stuff was like concrete! Once it dried it felt like sand paper so I soaked it good and let it sit for a while. Someone said that the bling plate was nothing more than a shovel!! He wasn't lying. I had to get it clean today because it is suppose to get down in the 30s tonight and stay cold tomorrow. Not only that, I am scheduled to have the first service on it Monday.

Yeah, we learned the hard way on the way out that when caked on, thick, AL mud has the chace to dry on your radiator, it makes your vehicle run hot!
