Messin around at home.

I'm driving home today from the store today and I was thinking about driving the FJ up on the mountain beside my house, so I call home and tell my son I'm gonna drive up on the mountain, get the camera....LOL
So when I get home, he beat me to it, he already drove up on the mountain in his truck, so I parked right beside him. I could have went futher up on the mountain, but I wanted a side by side for pics plus he's a teenager, didn't want to bruise his ego. The point of it all was to get him more involved in offroading, I want him to come with me on trail rides.
So this got me to thinking, my neighbor owns lots of excavation equipment, and he collects odd looking rocks, maybe he can bring me some big rocks to climb...not a bad idea to have rocks in your own yard to practice on.

You need to bring him along with you on the next ride.

Re: Messin around at home.

I've got a weird sliver of land that's a couple hundred feet long and was thinking of doing the same thing--making a little "rock garden".

Re: Messin around at home.

I'm trying to imagine being a teenager with a mother that wants me to offroad... My father and I took my mother, my wife, and kids offroading once. I'll spare you the the Jerry Springer details, but I assure you that this kind of family get together will never happen again - it's just my kids, my father, and myself that hit the trails from that day on...

Hey, will you be my Mommy?

Very cool!

Every time I take my Mom, she's always telling me to slow down or turn around. My kids are better trained.
