We can only make it Fri night and Sat of the run but I am sure that the park is open on Sun as well. Heather found local lodging. It is only 3 hrs tops for me to get there.

What dates would anyone be interested in?
We are at the Campground on Friday night and Saturday night and coming home on Sunday.

There maybe some more SMCer's coming to this as well. We are still working out the details.

Re: Tellico May 12-17

I'll be there at least for the day on Saturday and I hope to be there Friday too. I missed it the last two years which is unacceptable seeing as how I live less than two hours from there.

For those of you who haven't been and are planning on going, sliders are just about required equipment. Over the years with errosion and tire ruts there isn't hardly any trails left that aren't full of boulders that will ruin your sills, espcially anyone who is going sans lift like me.

Look forward to seeing you all. Oh...and make sure you visit the TLCA website for a list of required gear:

Re: Tellico May 12-17

I am going to try and make it out there but it depends on my work schedule...I have been out for a month following shoulder surgery so I dont know what the books looks like but if I can escape for a few days I will be there.

Can I late register when I arrive?

Re: Tellico May 12-17

Registration closed on the 21st, but you might be able to work something out. Main reason for early registration is logistical (number of t-shirts, meals, campsites, etc...) No one is going to run you off, but you'll have to check with the folks who run Crawford's campgrounds to see if there is space available.

Just as I feared...will be up in PA for work during the whole week and not flying home until Sunday night....This is gonna be one long Blackhawk flight! I will have to miss this run too...Its almost as if the Army is conspiring to keep me from joining you guys on the trails.

Some days I hate my job
