Official pulley replacement club!!!!

I am so excitied to announce that after tomorrow Im in the club!!!! WOW what an honor to be part of such a great group of people. I'm getting the royal treatment, all 3 pulleys replaced. What a great day this is. First I would like the thank god, my wife, and all of you for your support. Without you all inviting me mud riding with you this would have never happened.

Thank you all,

Edward

Re: Official pulley replacement club!!!!

That makes 3 of us from the Harlan ride with new pulleys so far. This makes my 4th set.

Welcome to the club, son. You will find the FJ loves new pulleys like I love M&Ms. Man, they're good! I'm researching possibly buying stock in the pulley co. I figure it could be a small return on my investment. Kinda like a discount.

So who makes these pulleys? Come on, fess up. We won't hurt you, we promise.

Well now that's just not much fun. There's nothing like the mud giggle. I just keep fillin my spare change jar and take it on over to Toyota every 6 months.

Re: Official pulley replacement club!!!!

LOL too funny. I needed to do 2,000 miles that week after Harlan, could not afford down time. Tina are you thinking about Tellico?

Re: Official pulley replacement club!!!!

I askes the tech what we could do about it and he said this.

" take it out in the mud, go home spray it off with the hose and wait till it makes noise again and bring it in and we will replace them. After a while Toyota will get it right and recall them all."

Okay, so now I'm thinking....alot of you guys got damage, and I haven't even looked (mainly cause I don't know what to look for) for damage. Should I have someone look? It drives like it always did.....I'm getting nervous.

Nothing to worry about. I still have my original pulleys. I just cruise a little slower in the mud. Now trail rash, that's a different story all together.

Yea, u have nothing to worry about. I still have my original pullies also. I usually power wash my pullies if I go through some major mud or water. Just to make sure all the grit comes out.
