Anders-Rice Funeral HomeJust went for service today and was wondering where my tech Jake Buckner Was. then I was told that back in July he was Killed on his motorcycle and His wife is in Atlanta in rehab.... Not a good day for me. We had became friends through the FJ ,and he also a couple of times was at a run we were at... I will Miss HIm..... He was 26 and a Master toyota Tech..... Just felt a need to share. .. He worked at Barkley In Asheville for 9 years
Never good news when someone passes away under those circumstances. DoWork you never know when your going to take your last breath. There is nothing wrong with getting motorcycle. You only increase your odds of getting injured by being unaware of your surroundings and acting foolishly. This is true with all things so don't let that stop you. Some of the best times I have had have been out on the road on my bike with my other half. I brought my bike back from Lakeland, Florida back in July without incident, 1400 miles. String very sorry to hear about your friend.....

Thanks all. this was also the second friend lost this year on a murder cycle... after posting this thread I went with my son and found some way backroads and some named shady rd etc and just got away for a bit.. and found some mud to play in and a few hills.. kind of bummed about it for sure..seems like now I will be offroading in his memory... He loved it.. and he also had a rock crawler.... thanks again...
Very sorry for your loss. I lost a close friend and riding buddy to a motorcycle accident about 3 weeks ago. I will keep you and his family in my thoughts and prayers.
