Here's what I found on the net:

Access: Located just off the 15 Freeway at the Cleghorn exit in the Cajon pass. Once you exit the freeway head towards the hills this will put you on 2N74 that will take you to the ridge. The whole trail is rated as easy but if you use the fire access bypasses it is anything but easy. The fire bypasses consist of deep ruts loose ground and off camber hills.

Looks like you take 138 E from 15fwy and go about 4 miles. I've never been there, but some of teh phots look very interesting.

I would like to go, but 8am is a bit early. 10 would be nice. Do Cleghorn, have lunch, head over to Azusa. Sounds really good on a loose schedule like that.

no not by the lake thats the exit of the trail.. take the 15 north to cleghorn exit ill be right there.. do you have a cb if you do ill be on 17..

Had a great time today at both Cleghorn and Azusa. I met some folks from adventure4x4.net who also drove FJs. There was a Jeep there as well. Met FJOllie, Frogeye, Eric, Chris, and some others that my brain just insn't good enough to remember :P. JSnap77 had an awsome rig sporting a lot of AllPro gears and 35 inch monsters. It was the first time I've been on Cleghorn and thanks to Jsnap and Eric's spotting and advice, I manage to finish some of the excursions from the main trail. Next time I need to get some tires! I need to also remember to get a radio so that maybe FJOllie will warn me of possible redecoration of my FJ's body and paint in the upcoming trail. There was an offcamber turn in a very tight trail which my rig tilted to one side on 3 wheels and was no more then 3 inches from hard rocks

At any rate, I'm in love with Cleghorn. I came away from that trip knowing that I NEED tires and a lift kit. The skids and rockrails got a good work out today.

Went to Azusa OHV a little later and met Reese and Roo. Both driving very nicely modded black FJs. Roo, I love the black out look.
