Re: Joshua Tree - 3/31

It was a good time.
The trail is pretty easy, manly a fire road for the first third of it. The first not easy part was a portion of the trail that started goign through a canyon down hill with some small to medium size boulders. After that we ended up in what looked like a big dried river bed with lots of diffrent trails just weeving togeather so you could pic what one you wanted and try and find the hard or easy one. There were some portions that were little more difficult but it was wierd cause it seemd like you had to realy be looking for them and find the right trail to take. But all in all it was a fun day.
Only got two pictures and they are of Roo on one of the harder obsitcals

This was my first time out to Joshua Tree and I didn't expect the beautful landscape with the crazy rock formations. I will need to go out there again.

It was nice meeting you guys, Will see you on the trail again soon.

Re: Joshua Tree - 3/31

Wow those are cool pics! I've been to joshua tree for camping back before I had an FJ (or any 4x4 at all) and we got out to several really cool rock formations but these pics amke me want to get out there again in my FJ. Still stock though so I think I gotta wait on the more difficult stuff.

I'm going to be working on trying to make a good deal with Donahoe for the suspension goodies at which time I'll probably step up and get some appropriate tires and just slap them on the stock alloys. Then it's off to the races I hope...

don't under estemate what a stock Fj can do I have seen them do some crazy stuff. But you would be fine out there in a stock Fj you could do the majority in 2 wheel drive I bet.

Re: Joshua Tree - 3/31

Hey guys, it was great meeting you all and it was a good run... everyone made it back in one piece so that's a success. That was my first trip to Joshua Tree and yep, those rock formations were really crazy... I drove out the south side of the park on Sunday just to see what was out there and more strange landscape...

Catch you all again on another run...
