NorCal Dude coming to SoCal

I'll be in Northridge April 5-8. I've read and heard a lot about Azusa Canyon and was planning to go there Friday the 6th. Anyone in that area available to head out with me? I'm running stock 4x4 MT with BGF AT's. Don't mind getting stuck and certainly don't mind getting dirty (for some reason that just doesn't sound right).

Anyway...if anyone is down holla at me!

Excellent! I'm sort of looking forward to getting stuck at least once!

Re: NorCal Dude coming to SoCal

Well I just found out that Azusa Canyon isn't open on Friday's. So it looks like I'll have to come up with a plan b. If anyone knows of another place I could have some fun on that day, please let me know.

Doh I forgot you were planning it on a Friday, yea they are only open Saturday/Sundays. There isn't anywhere else local that is as quick. You would have to dedicate at least half a day to some of the other ones.

What about Hungry Valley? I looked it up and it's not too far. Is that a good place for a few hours of fun? Can stock FJ make it around without any problems?

Re: NorCal Dude coming to SoCal

Anyone know anything about Rohwer Flat. It appears to be really really close to where I'll be in Northridge. My immediate concerns would be is it open on Friday's. And is this a trail I can do alone if I have to?

Dirtopia says that the trails Require intermediate to advanced riding skills.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Re: NorCal Dude coming to SoCal

Update...
I did some searching and saw that Rowher Flat is open 24/7. I'd like to go on Friday for a few hours. So if anyone is interested just sound off and we'll plan from there.
