Hey Scott, take a few hours off and run to the top and back.
If you were going at 3:00-3:30 I would come. I have a 1:00pm in Tustin. Not sure how long I'll be there. Thanks for the invite!
P.S. Also buffed out my car yesterday for the first time since I bought it. I still have the big pin stripes but it looks more like a yr. old instead of a 5 yr old truck. Have fun!

But just a question? How the hell do I get in? I live in the OC area and it looks like a nice little trip that Id like to try myself. And road that leads into it? Example: Indian truck trail, etc. Something easy enough to find on my crappy GPS?
Turn up Silverado Canyon off Santiago canyon. the road becomes dirt and takes you to the top(Santiago Peak). On the way across you can turn down Indian Truck trail and end up by the 15, or stay to the right and drive all the way across to Blue jay campground, off the Ortega. You can also enter in Corona, but will need better directions.
