Re: Airsoft & Fj's

I occassionally airsoft, but dude, you are going to get so much crap from the paint ballers about how "airsoft is for pussies" etc. Not that I'm a paint baller, frankly, I don't like to wake up with welts that are bigger than my fist all over my body.

Re: Airsoft & Fj's

Why do people have to playa hate? Paintballing is growing into Milsims and airsoftning is gaining popularity. SC village have airsoft on the 1st & 3rd Sunday. I never played Airsoft @ SC, but i hate to come back with my FJ lited up. I never had probs airsofting @ Jungle island, but then again I didn't own a FJ. As far as dedicated outdoor airsoft fields, that would leave Lennix field. Huh!!! is anybody down?!!

Re: Airsoft & Fj's

I was into Airsoft for about 4 years and recently quit 6 months ago. I couldn't justify all the money I was spending because I rarely played. Now instead of frequenting the SoCalAirsoft forums I spend my time on these boards.

I even designed and made some of my own gear. I was and I still am somewhat of a geardo.

Heres a pic from last summer

Yah. . . .I know that feeling about spending all that money & being a gear-whore. I slowed down after my 8th AEG. My Fj divert all my Man-funds now, but ounce in awhile I hear the call of my gearbox!. Nice multi-cams!!! I think i've seen you @ Playground?!

Re: Airsoft & Fj's

I'm actually a paintballer myself. Got a private group going to Jungle Island in a few weeks. I actually don't know what airsoft is. I mean, I've seen the guns but that's all I know about it. Is it possible to summarize the diffs in a sentence or two?
