Talking Offroad park at home.

Has anyone seen the obstacle course Land Rover has in it's dealers?I stop by the other day and ask if I could drive through it in my FJ ofcourse they said no.Said it's a liability issue.I'm thinking about getting a couple of boulders and placing them in my driveway for some home 4X4 ing.Does anyone know where I could find some boulders 3 feet high or so?

Re: Offroad park at home.

my landlord is a parts manager for the local LR dealership here. (Keeler) Apparantly they have one of the hardest ones in the country (still not that hard) I guess they got a notice that the new LR3s cant go on it, and they messed up an mercedes ML on it

I gotta talk him into letting me try it out

Re: Offroad park at home.

i have a friend who used to work for landrover. he said his favorite part of the job was taking people on the obstacle course and making them either light headed or fart all over the place from fear. he said he sold more cars just by taking the trucks on the course than any other way.

they also flipped over a mercedes ml class on it. and they put a few rental cars on it too. they didnt do so well (e.g. tow truck and some winching to get them off their sides and back on the course)

Thumbs up Re: Offroad park at home.

I think the fj on 4 low with the locker on can do it.I like hitting the trails nothing comes close to it but sometimes you want something closer. The sema show in vegas had their obstacle course. Why can't I have mines at home.I found a boulder at a apartment building that they want to get rid of.Load it on the trailer good to go.lol will post some pics soon.

Re: Offroad park at home.

Try Southwest Boulder. They have all kinds of boulders and rocks. Even a design center. I am sure if you tell them what you want they can help.
