Looks nice. I don't think I'd get a larger sunroof than you got (I like having a full-sized roof rack). Your seals look good...let us know how they hold up!
I believe that Suzzer got the largest sunroof available -- Hollandia 790 -- which is what the people at Airstream told me they were using for FJ installs.

Well there is the panaoromic one. I'd really love to see what that looks like. I may regret not getting one. The guys at Airstream described it as like a mini-cooper sun roof. I just got a little spooked by the size of it, the fact that it comes back over itself (instead of into the roof) and the roof integrity. Really tough to make that decision when all you have to go on is a grainy picture on a camera phone.

Also with mine I could get another one in the rear for $700. I figured I could always come back and do that if I needed more light.

Re: Got a sunroof installed

sunroof looks great, as for lens changes in undesired locations, all DSLRs suffer the same issue of having foreign objects land on the protective glass plate that sits on top of the sensors themselves.

this is one technique/tool/kit that many photographers use including pros.

If blowing on the sensor with a bulb doesn't help, compressed air may be required. Just make sure the can is sitting up-right when you do this.

Otherwise I like this sensor-spatula + pec-pad and eclipse fluid. Works great and although the site makes it seem like it's difficult or scary, it's really easy.

OK here is what I gots for yas! This offer will be good at Huntington Beach Airstream location only!

When you call them at (714) 899-2254 (Ask for Robert) Tell him you are a member of the Fj Cruiser Forum & that Dave referred you. He will give you 10% off the normal price for either sunroof. Parts & labor.

So I know that some of you have called for quotes. He will give you 10% off of the quote. Just make sure & mention you are a member of the "club."

I would of liked to get a better deal re-sale no tax etc. But Its a bit too complicated to sublet it thru my shop.

Dave

Cool! I'm going to call him again tomorrow to confirm my appointment on Monday 6/25 and am going to ask him for the discount too. Thanks!

Update 6/20: Just spoke w/Robert and he confirmed the appointment & the discount! The $100 saved will cover my 1st nights lodging and then I'm off to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree NP for some easy trail riding.
