I don't know of any events, but I just got my FJC back after about 6 weeks, and I'm DESPERATE to get some trail miles in. I'll probably do something Sunday - I'd be happy for trail buddies... (would do Sat but have to get back for UFC on PPV!!! )
I can't do anything too major since I'm currently without skid trays... Something like Cleghorn would be perfect...

Great...I've never been there so I need to research on where it is and how to get there...also what to bring since my family will be going.
I just have a stock '07 TRD edition, 6M/T... no funds for the major upgrades just yet, but maybe able to squeeze a few inexpensive items... any recommendations on what I need?

Take the I15 north and just before 138 (Silverwood Lake), you'll see Cleghorn Offroad Trail or something like that. There's a sign on the freeway that you can't miss. It's about 25 miles from Ontario. Bring some water and some snacks if you plan on stopping much or taking in the view. The trail shouldn't take more then 1.5 hour to go through. It's maybe 8 miles long.

The main trail is a fire road that a regular car can go through. It would be rough for a car, but possible. My FJ is pretty much stock and it'll do most of the trails. The side trails can be challenging, but you don't have to do them if you don't want to.
