Powdercoating

Hi, Anyone know of a company that powdercoats rims? Preferably in the OC area. Im thinking about getting my stock alloys powdercoated black. Hopefully this company would also do the tire mounting/unmounting too.

Any help would be appreciated.
thanks, Mike

Re: Powdercoating

go to yahoo yellow pages type in powder coating in the OC you should have a bunch of results.I got a quote from a place in van nuys for 55 dollars a rim not bad.Shop around some places want 100 bucks a wheel I don't know what they are smoking. The center cap is the only thing that cannot be coated because its plastic but you could paint it with wheel paint.

Re: Powdercoating

For get the name but there is a place in Huntington Beach on Gothard st. Between Slater and Garfield. I took some old Inwall speaker grills there about 10 years ago that were rusted from the salt air by my "Crib" and they did a fanstasic job.

Re: Powdercoating

What prices are people being quoted for each rim? $400 for five was the best deal I was quoted. That still seems to high.

Re: Powdercoating

I would just rattlecan them. Save a bunch of cash and easily touch up scratches.
