Check out Adventure4x4 net.
There are guys that go wheeling all of the time! It's more of a "let's go wheeling" rather than "let's meet for dinner".
TLCA is also a great, if you have the time for meetings.
Tit, I couldn't have said it better. Meetings? What meetings. Let's just go wheeling. When we do have "meetings" they are usually around a campfire and or at some sort of a raffle contest, and we're all trying our best to heckle Highbeams. At least I'm always trying my best.
I've met some really great people going on Adventure4x4.net runs. A4x4 is more of a network of different online communities. We welcome all types of vehicles. We all share a common goal of wheeling and enjoying the great outdoors with our friends and families.

There is currently a FJ cruiser club in the OC. Called FJ4X4WHELERS. However I am the only current member, founder, president, CEO/CFO, and Sargent at arms. It's exhausting with meetings, PR, Planning trips, signing autographs and going to birthday parties. Not to mention car washes, paper routes, and mowing lawns to help raise money to keep FJ4X4WHEELERS out of the red from buying some mods. JK

Re: Does anyone belong to a Southern Cali FJ club?
Adventure4x4.net is more of a anti club than a club, no dues, no meetings, just a lot of trail runs, bantering on teh forum , and a few long campouts each year
check it out, we meet everyday on the web and have runs most every weekend, it is a run what you brung club that is about 80 percent FJCs
and we encourage new wheelers and offer a lot of help and advice.
nicest thing is you get to see how those mods actually work and talk to guys who will tell you what works and what doesn't on the trail
We also encourage members to belong to a modle specific forum (yes we all belong here if we own a FJC) as these are the best places to get info and news, we are kinda a tool for other forums to use.

Froggy, last raffle you had bought so many tickets you did not have time to heckle, you were reading numbers all night. That was a good event, next spring we will do Springfest in Hungry Valley again.

I belong to - "Dirty4x4's" and very similar to AceTechno's club....lol
Great group of peeps at Adventure4x4.net and FJCruiserforums.com. I'm also a TLCA member as well... and registered at other forums just to listen/read and learn, not to mention keep adding to my catalog of a wish list! =)
