hey tony, maybe you should mention in the update on the first post that i have OME medium all the way around and mir has OME hard all the way around; that makes a difference.
True - I don't even know what the ride difference is like medium to heavy OME. I'm guessing that the mediums probably give better (less restrictive) articulation - it'll be fun even to see that.

Re: Suspension answers once and for all.

what about adding something simple as an unbalanced tire scenario.
most of us drive it home after the trail and most of us don't use pellets in them.
the question would be which one handles better with an unbalanced tire at high speed 65mph - 75mph.
loosing lead is highly possible off road.

thats kind of a good idea, but we could get something near the same results if we just drove on a heavily washboarded road at varying speeds. it would be a little bit safer this way

Re: Suspension answers once and for all.

Bump. We're still looking for volunteers with AllPro and Donahoe suspension!. We'll only test the trucks as far as you are willing to go so don't feel pressured.

Re: Suspension answers once and for all.

Woots, Thanks FJrod. We have a few people that are donating their stock tires for testing. Can you list the mods on your suspension? Thanks.

Re: Suspension answers once and for all.

You should line this up to happen during the FJ Summit. You'll have a huge variety of folks who could volunteer their rigs (esp. since they're already going to be "testing" their stuff off-road anyway!). My $.02....

Re: Suspension answers once and for all.

That would be awesome if I can for sure make that trip. Plans are a little uncertain at this point. Also, I have no idea how the Summit is like so could not possibly design a good test.

Re: Suspension answers once and for all.

Hey, mods! Could you pass this up to the folks in charge of the FJ Summit?

Maybe they could help line something like this up (or delegate it to folks who could help you).
