Save your money and just do it yourself. I just installed the factory hitch & wiring kit last weekend and it was very easy. Here is a link to a good writeup.

I read in the owner's manual that the wiring for adding the tow hitch is already there and tucked up neatly somewhere under the left rear of the truck. Is this not the case?

The primary wiring is already there, however, you'll still need the harness kit that includes the plug-in relay module, the included fuses and the actual 4-pin trailer lighting connector assembly.
