I'm a graphic designer and am willing to help out with logo/ shirt design.

yeah, many of us are already using adventure4x4.net as a local Socal FJ club. Most of the members have FJs, but all are welcome. There are lots of formal and informal runs and many of those end up being all FJs.

Same meeting place? In OC every time? Maybe this should be called more appropriately the L.A. Metro Area FJ Club or Orange County FJ Club. I wonder how many San Diego area FJs you'll attract as many of them already run with the Adventure 4X4.net group which happens to be mostly FJs but is open to all. Good luck whichever way you go.

Adventure4x4.net IS the current SoCal FJ club, already has stickers, t-shirts, devoted members and no politics. Its the way a club should be, unless you just have to have a special handshake and enjoy power struggles. Personally I will never again join a club with mandatory meetings and run requirements, the people at Adventure4x4.net are the best people you could possibly hook up and run trails with period.

I think the issue is not that he dislikes adventure4x4, I think its more of a geographical issue. A4x4 seems more geared towards those out in southern eastern counties, and from what I gather alot of the response is from Coastal and Orange County guys. Not to be in the middle but FJKarma and you seemed a little annoyed at the thought of another Socal group getting together, but I say the more the marrier, I doubt it will affect any A4x4 meets or runs if a few guys from Orange County get together now and then. If you wish to not be part of any political problems then you probably shouldnt comment on another clubs formation....Keep in mind I know a few guys that roll with A4x4 and Im just saying this as to help people see both sides...in the end its about guys that like their cars and want to have fun.
