it was great meeting many of you...it was great seeing so many cruisers...it was really nice to see so many different aftermarket parts in person and installed...

here are some pictures i took while we were all hanging out in the parking lot...

wasn't able to get a shot of every cruiser that showed up...but most are here...

i'm horrible with names and can't remember who owns which vehicle...so i've numbered each picture...if anyone wants me to add their name just pm me and let me know which rig is yours.

Lotsa kewl folks! Always great to meet the new comers looking for info to make informed decisions on major purchases for you FJ! Always best to ask around and see what others have done first hand, to see what works, and what doesn’t. Get togethers like this are important, they help all.
Sorry didn’t stay long, had our lil dog with me and she overheats quick!

Also, side note..
Geez...folks are on this board for info and fun!! Comments I make tend to be in jest, not trying hurt anyone’s feelings…..just a PSA.

Hey check out my "train" horn
(can we PLEASE call it a "truck horn" for now?)



When Mud tooted his horn, the high pitch shatted this poor persons window and crashed into a van on the street behind us! Later, the driver said he thought it was a cat screaming in pain! Although cars were stopped, waiting for a train to pass which WAS heard earlier! hehe
Disclaimer: No one was either affected or accident caused (which happened 20 mintues after said honking) by the high pitch squeal of Mud s horn, or the air release sound that he claims “came from his air tank”…..sure Mud…sure.

WOW! today was great!

Thanks to everyone who came out today. it was good to be able to put faces to usernames and real names to usernames.

savvyav, you are a good guy, i just misunderstood you. go figure, im stoopid like that...

skersfan and uphill, stay away from my girl! haha.

i will probably setup the next meet for somewhere out in the corona area. that will be closer for almost everyone. sorry that you had to sit in so much traffic, bob, but you gotta pay to play. (even though the fj came out for about an hour then retreated to its castle)

overall, i think the SoCal FJ Club will live on and only become stronger with time.

thanks for having my back, thugasaur. i think if anyone is hassling me and you step out in front of me, they will run away with their tail in between their legs.

next meet time and date will be set in a few days. just want to make it more central to everyone. it seems bob (skersfan) has a problem with leaving the safety of his high desert hiding hole! [take that bob! ]

As to Mud's reaction to a couple of us mentioning that his girlfriend was attractive, you can see from this photo -- You don't pull on Superman's cape, you don't spit in the wind, you don't pull the mask off the Lone Ranger and you don't mess around with Mud!
