I'm not stock -- but -- I would have made this run when I WAS stock. Cleghorn is one of those places where you have an option to be aggressive or take it a bit easier all in one run, and hang with the group at the same time. I have never done this run in my FJ though, and I'm looking forward to it.

and the mods keep coming....and my wallet keeps crying..
i wouldnt consider cleghorn anywhere near hard but I guess it really depends on each persons experience and comfort level's, but it is fun for everyone!
bring some lunch, and lots of water -- just fill up your gas tank right before we head off and you should be fine for the entire day.
I dont see why your 4runner friend can't come out.
we will probably be there until 4PM~ i guess

This trail is very easy that you can do it on 2wd with high clearance if you stick to the main trail. Opt out of the harder stuff if you want. It's a la carte style offroading . I'm stock with only sliders and a the factory skids. There a are a few areas in Cleghorn that I won't do and mostly it's because of the possibility of getting scratched (yes, I know... but hey, I hate buffing). By the way anyone is welcome.
Frogeye, maybe next time. I've had fun doing runs with you.
Try and be prompt tomorrow. Bring a lot of water, some snacks, tire gauge, deflators if you have them, sunblock, recovery gear (don't think we'll get stuck, but you never know). It really is a pretty safe, but fun trail. Just don't go fast and ask if you're not sure about a certain section.

Hey FJamming, I don't have anything/way to deflate and fill up my tires personally, will that slow everything down? I'm sure someone will have the stuff, but I don't want to impose or anything. How much is that kind of stuff, if you know?

You could show up with nothing and be fine but....you should always have food (we'll be stopping at Silverwood Lake for lunch which has no food), water, first aid kit, blanket(s) in addition to tools, hi lift jack, and a recovery strap.
Everyone should be airing down on this run so you should have a way to air back up or have a friend who has a way to do so. Decent compressors are available for under $50.00.
Fuel will not be a problem if you are half full at the beginning of the run. You can fill up at the Silverwood Lakes exit which is one exit away from Cleghorn.
Gas is available in Arrowhead.
Once we reach Arrowhead you should have an Adventure Pass if you plan to stop and "recreate". $5.00 a day or $100.00 annually.
