I Spotted you in SOCAL Thread

Saw a silver? with I think ARB bumper and some aux. lights WB 210 by Rose Bowl around 1650 today. Noticed too late to give headlight flash.

Saw a lifted VooDoooo in Irwindale around 9-10 am, Spit my drink all over as it came around the corner......

Saw three today... first was voodoo blue northbound on the 330. A couple hours later I saw another (or the same?) voodoo blue heading south on the 330. Minutes later a silver was a few vehicles behind me going north on the 330. I was in my red Mini, so no waves were offered...

Saw a Voodoo Blue on Azusa Northbound turning right to First St. in Azusa. Couldn't throw a wave or flash the lights since he was turning as I saw him.

Haven't come across any (other than the titanium on on Joy st, works there) still looking and ready to wave!

Spotted a Voodoo Blue 2x4 in Lahaina, Maui. Saw it three times in two weeks I was there. The only FJ I saw the whole two weeks.

Yesterday, I went to try a combination Salvadorian/Mexican restaurant that I'd read about in the OC weekly. There were mostly locals there, representing that particularly ethnic neighborhood of Costa Mesa very nicely. My girlfriend and I stood out with our inquisitiveness of the menu and our (at least her) fair skin. Well, "El Chinaco" was an awesome find! And while we were enjoying our food, another couple walked in asking questions like we had done before. I thought they must have read the article, too, and had the same sense of adventure we had.

We walked out well stuffed and very happy, though my girlfriend did complain that I pushed her out of the way to run up to my FJ! As she was protesting that I might love the FJ more than her, I looked right past her to the passenger side mirror and spotted a big bad Voodoo Blue parked right behind us...

So Voodoo Azul, did you belong to the couple in the new restaurant taking your taste buds off-road? Or were you the restaurant owner's or the possession of one of the locals?

There lives a Black Diamond near downtown HB with custom silver rims somewhere near 12th street. Before I got mine, I had to watch you driving down Adams street, taunting me because you beautified HB first with yours...

Another Black Diamond must belong to a wave junkie who loves the North side between the pier and 17th street. I'm in almost everyday, too, though I ride my bike half the time. Since I'm a psycho, shore riding body surfer, you'll most likely not see me in the same water you tread. But if you see very tanned Dutch-Indonesian with Viper fins and webbed gloves, look to see if he's happier now getting out of the water than getting in because he knows what's waiting for him on the side of the road...

Anyway and in these ways, I SPOTTED YOU IN SOCAL.

There is a Sun Fusion parked on Imperial Blvd near Pacific Blvd - saw it twice in 2 weeks - red card hanging from the rear view mirror
I also saw a cool Black Diamond 4x4 in the parking lot of the Northridge Mall - from Longo Toyota - nice!

Ti-silver FJ weinersnitzel drive-thru carson st in torrance yesterday around 4pm.

There was San Diego Channel 10 news story on yesterday regarding historic homes and property tax, and when they showed one home in La Jolla, there was a shiny titanium FJ in the driveway with sunroof. FJ got some free air time.
