That was probably it, the wife is driving it to work today and she takes Vanowen, and it was about the right time!

Probably Larry cruising into Dirty Parts. Did you get a look at the plate? One look at Larry's and you know it's him. I don't think he has the skeleton on the ladder anymore.

Most of the time during the week she takes it to work and/or picking up the kids, she works only about 4 miles from the house at Warner Center (less miles on the FJ, covered parking, less gas). During the week I drive the Yaris, as I drive about 800 miles+ a week for work, it would kill the FJ driving it all over like that equiped like it is, not to mention the gas... So this way we save the $$, wear and tear on the FJ for the weekends and using it for what is was meant for - off-road!

Idealy I'd have a third car for her to drive and leave the FJ for recreation, but that's a bit expensive.

Re: I Spotted you in SOCAL Thread

I spotted a Titanium with a Lucrum winch mount and two doggies in the back yesterday at the Carl's Jr. parking lot in Carmel Mountain Ranch yesterday around 1:00. You looked very tired!

My wife just got a job at Warner Center and will be taking the FJ on her short commutes! We already checked the garage height....no problem for the lift. I'm really glad the FJ will be relieved of the excessive mileage.

I've been trying to convince her of getting an econo car cuz I don't want to drive the Tahoe to work anymore. We will see....
