I was on the 15, 91, 55, 405...didn't see one---only saw a SF parked in Balboa last night.
Last weeked I was in Laguna Niguel and a Black Cherry drove up in the lane next to me. I was all prepared to wave and/or smile, but the guy did not even look over . We were side by side in the front row of a red light. Just for giggles I revved the engine and he still wouldn't look over. He finally did this odd wave without looking---almost like flipping me off without the finger being up there ----maybe the old geezer was having an intense conversation with his son or some sort of drama. Spoil sport!
There is a high concentration of FJ's now around my town (still not huge numbers, tho) and I can't stand the snobbery that I have encountered from them----ugh! Those types should not be in an FJ.
well if you were on those roads between 1pm and 6pm you may have been seen by us going the other way! we did not get to balboa. but two of the sf we saw were heading that way! they were ahead of us so we did not catch up to wave at them! so we'll keep waving, maybe one time it will be you!

The first one waved to me but i missed it (my friend saw it, i was too busy blabbing), then the coming back up i waved this time but i didn't see you wave back.. looked like your windows were tinted..

ah very cool...the cabin is rather dark as not alot of sun is let in by our low pro windows and windshield, not to mention Im darker anyhow. good to see people bumping around south county...

if you want some good coast driving stay on that 405 and then break into PCH after Seal Beach. You will hit Huntington, Newport, Carona Del Mar, and Laguna, and Finally San Clemete Beaches. thare is nothing more southern california surf life than that stretch of the PCH.
