Re: I Spotted you in SOCAL Thread

Just got back from 4 nights at the Crystal Pier at Pacific Beach. We were the only VooDooblue one we saw the whole time. Black at the beach parking mon. between PB and La Jolla, black w/o rack on Mission blvd near Liars Club and black cherry at the Catamaran. While our FJ was parked on the pier, I was still amazed at how many people stopped and checked it out and even shot photos of it. Had a great time in your city

i keep parking right next to a bone stock voodoo blue FJ that seems to work at the dentists office when i go to play pool at the corner of roscoe and de soto
I drive buy Roscoe & Desoto, every day and never see a FJ parked there, maybe they just have really bad teeth. But I see a Voodoo blue parked every day on Woodman between Roscoe and Parthinia. Good thing that plane that crashed today didnt hit it, came close!!

Hey, I wouldn't leave without telling you. I thought I would spread some sunshine there, boy we sure don't have to go far for good off roading. See ya around.

Crystal Pier is such a cool place to go! For those who haven't seen it, you sleep ON the pier over the water or at least on the sand. It's awesome to just walk out there, too.

the only way to see it is if you are going west on roscoe and look between the gas station and the pool hall all the way back next to the wall and the enterance to the dentists office. if you are going east on roscoe or either direction on de soto you will most likely miss it

also keep your eye out, mine is there quite a bit

Ha ha! That's funny about the seizures. Sometimes it's ok to get really excited!!!

Yeah, we've been going there for 5 years, stay in the cabin on the north end. I have the end of the pier to myself from sunset to 8 AM, way cool. Anyone wanting a great beach stay, we highly suggest this place. When a storm surge comes in, the cabin really rocks. It is also a very bad place to be with a hangover......................I know, but still haven't learned. A side note, after looking at Google Earth, the mountains S. of Plaster City and I 8 and up above by Jacumba look interesting, any of you folks get into this area?

And, the best time to go on that pier is during a big winter swell. Don't forget a coffe from the little coffee shop. =P
