Finally got a wave - well sorta...sitting at a red light in NoHo as a brand new BC turned the corner, no plates and an older blondish lady behind the wheel. We made eye contact and grinned ear to ear...kind of a refreshing change from the anger balls driving around town I usually see in FJs.

Yeah, you know anger-balls - those people who are curled up in a rage, their whitening fingers dug into the steering wheel, teeth clenched, swerving and trying to get around vehicles cuz they're not going 60 mph in a school zone - balls of anger...I'm guilty of it from time to time too but I've mellowed out in the last coupe years, especially since I got my FJ - I just get out of their way and cruise away.

I drive like a grandma after I bought the FJ. No point racing it and no enjoyment going fast. When I step on it, I can feel the gas sloshing through and my $$$ going through the exhaust. I save it for the trails. It's handling on the trails more then made up for the sterility I feel driving it on the street.

Spotted an almost exact clone of my VB FJ around the corner from where I work. Down on 2nd St in Long Beach today. Mad me so mad I wanted to turn around a go piss on it. This was at 12:30 pm accross from B of A. I was in my Ford work truck when i spotted it.
