Re: I Spotted you in SOCAL Thread

You guys are funny.

I must say, I would have prefered a Voodoo over the Black Cherry, but my wife overruled my color selection. I think that's an indication that the Black Cherry is a soccer mom choice, so there's alot of them out there being driven as daily drivers. (and there's nothing wrong with that!)

That being the case, a tricked out high-rise black cherry would be pretty unique, whereas all the Voodoo's and Sun Fusions will naturally be geared for offroading.

For me, and FJ is an FJ, unless of course it's one of those hideous beasts at that dealer in Santa Clarita. The picture of that completely yellow thing still haunts me.

My better half doesn't have too much to say about the Voodoo blue color choice I made. I think she would of rather had a TI or BC. But...........You know how that goes..........She has her own Nissan Armada. Which BTW I picked the color on hers too! with her approval of course

I see an ugly yellow one at South Bay Toyota with what looks like a LA Lakers theme going on. I thought, oh no it's "pimped" out I don't think I saw it recently though.

South Bay Toyota has tons of FJs in their overflow lot

Yup - right across the street from the place that holds the phone for the 1-800-number we call for our body rips, windshields, warranty stuff, etc. I was thinking about stopping in there one day (on duty, of course).

I saw a Titanium yesterday on the north 110 fwy at the 91 fwy. We both waved. I love the way he had his lights attached directly to his front bumper, no brushguard, etc. Sweet.

Re: I Spotted you in SOCAL Thread

I saw a nice lifted voodoo by the hotel del coronado this past weekend, was from texas and had the texas land cruiser sticker, bike on top, warn front bumper ,mean rims and tires and a cracked windsheild, anyone know who this is? also the past 2 days there has been a sandstorm with a contractor sticker on the side working at the golf course on NAS north island.
