It would've been cool if a cop in his cruiser talks to me like that.
I had a cop come up to me before work once, he asked me a few questions on how I liked it. He was telling me to use 87 octane rather than the 91 that I told him I was using. I felt bad cause I had to go work and leave while I wanted to talk a bit more.
Another time the district police was wondering about my FJ after school. It was after she made a report when another student hit my car.
If you're talking about Aviation in Manhattan Beach, I live across the street from REI! Mine is a dirty voodoo blue without a rack. I never have time to wash it being gone every weekend. I drive north on the 405/14/395 every Thurs or Fri, and south on Sunday. You will know me by my license plate. I guess I should wave to all FJs?

Today on the southbound 110 freeway prior to the 10 fwy, I was in my "other" Black/White when I saw a BD FJ. Driver saw me staring and rolled down his window. I said I had the same rig, same color (but his had the FJ off road lights, roof rack, etc). I told him about the forums. He said he didn't know about this place, and he asked me about the windshield and the body rips. Seems like he has those issues. Hope he registers here....if he does, Welcome Bradda!

Did you explain that the Ford Crown Vic P71 is every bit as capable as the FJC? I'm sure he was checking out your Rhino Push Bumper and overhead R/B LED off road lights as well. Not to mention the UHF 1/4 wave antenna's mounted to the trunk lid and black steelies with GoodYear Egale GT's.

that reminds of story when dad was on duty and wheeled his crown vic chasing down a guy on a bike. he blew up something in the trans when jumping a curb to cut the guy off..
