Looking for a good shop or two for interior stuff

Hi everyone,

I live in Long Beach and work in West LA, looking to do some upgrade work, here's the list:

Replace OEM head unit with touch-screen Sirius/CD/NAV

Add bluetooth, prefereably w/in the head unit, but separately if that's not an option

Reupholster front and rear seats, I'm thinking a high-grade leather but if there are any similay comfy materials out there that I can get dirty and not worry about, that's cool too.

Add a sunroof

Replace rear view mirror with an auto-dimming one

That's it for starters...any suggestions?

Thanks- RX

I would suggest doing the head unit, bluetooth and rear view mirror yourself. You will save aLOT of money that can go towards the sunroof install.

Ebay's a good choice for auto dimming mirrors. I cant remember the name of the companies...but they have them on there for about 100 to 200 dollars. Dentex? I don't remember. But the high end stuff with the compass, lights, and home link.

Reupholstery...I have no idea, Some people do the wet okele (sp?). I would go the leather route though, this is my first cloth car...and I can't stand it, rub the seats with your hand to wipe off crumbs and it burns!

Cool, thanks- I'll give them a call. It looks like the head units are easy to install, true?

Yes very easy. There are multiple threads with steps to install nav head units, or single DIN head units.
