I know it's a freakin' long haul, but I'm contemplating taking the trip out. Is anyone else 'round here even thinking about this yet?

...I was going to say, come on Lisa - it's definitely not a long haul!!! Last year, a bunch of awesome SoCal peeps met up with the AZ peeps in Flagstaff and we caravaned together, help me out Jeshua - we had what, 14 to start with and ended with 16 after losing two and picking some up in Durango??
Anyway Lisa - it's an awesome road trip and with CB chatter, it feels like you get there in NO time!
You must go! And I'm sure there will be caravan threads in no time!!!
Re: Anyone in SD area thinking about going to Ouray?
Ya I think the last count as we rolled in to Ouray was 16. It was a great drive and it did go by pretty quick.
Your hubby will love it, its a great trip and words really don't do it justice. I hope I can make it this year.

Re: Anyone in SD area thinking about going to Ouray?
I'll have to check your post of pix & vids at home, Kat... dumb work computers don't let me see photobucket hosted images. I'll make sure the hubby sees them too!

Re: Anyone in SD area thinking about going to Ouray?
Lisa,
I'm in the same boat. Wifey isn't really that interested, but is also compounded by the fact that we will have just gotten back from a round trip CA->AZ->UT->WY->ND->CO->NM->CA road trip
