Re: List of CO2 fill locations in SoCal

Any more to add to the list? Looks like Riverside and San Diego areas are really lacking.

Re: List of CO2 fill locations in SoCal

Just got an email today from Tom Severin at Badlands Off-Road. He's been compiling a similar list...here's a link.

Thanks Hardluck. I wish they included their tank policy though. I would like to know if they swap tanks or fill on site.

Yeah, that would have been nice. On the other hand, we have the phone numbers, we can break it up and start calling them to ask. I'll start calling on Monday, say, those listed from Anaheim to Lancaster.

Re: List of CO2 fill locations in SoCal

The Pomona Airgas location has changed their policy. It's no longer a fill while you wait and they've also raised the price. I went to get a fill up and was told I needed to leave it over night. I was caught off guard, but fortunately, I didn't need it immediately. I asked if calling in advance to see if their tech is on site and available for fill-while-you-wait and got a vague "maybe" as answer. They told me the price is $32 initially and when I ranted about the previous price of $15, they asked for a receipt. Obviously I don't keep a 2 month old receipt and have it available! They guy then told me for me, it's $18.50 and I need to keep the receipt. So buyer beware. Call ahead of time so you'll know what you're getting into. I may continue to use them because they are very close. The receipt will stay in the Powertank bag!
