WOULD ENJOY SEEING SOME OTHER FJ'S ON THE POKER RUN.
LAST RUN, SATURDAY WAS VERY BUSY. SUNDAY WAS MUCH LESS CROWDED. WOULD BE A GREAT DAY FOR AN FJ RUN. IT IS A FAMILY ATMOSPHERE. IT IS 25 MILES, VERY EASY TRAILS, NOT A RACE.
I've been to this event many times, it's held in October and April.
it's a great run except....
Watch out for the M/C's and ATV's riding on the 4x4 loop instead of staying on their own loop. Last year the bikes and quads were on the 4x4 loop spitting @$%! rocks at my truck as they passed by at high speed. Not cool!!
I know it's an open desert but a little consideration for fellow off roaders never hurts.
Not sure if I'll do it this year or wait for the Toyota Trail event in November.
