Re: Forever Wild 11/25/07 Caravan sign up list for San Diego peeps and others!

depending on exactly where you meet up, it should take you about an hour and a half to get there. If you come up the 15 (meet in Escondido or something) you probably have less chance of traffic on the OC/Riverside county end, but there would be a little bit of back-tracking for you, as the meeting for OC peeps is West of the 15.

If you chose to meet in Oceanside/Vista area, it would be about the same amount of time coming up the 5, BUT, good chance for traffic in south OC, AND more traffic on the 91.

I guess it's a matter of where you wanna meet, and if you want an ocean view or a mountain view for your drive.

Re: Forever Wild 11/25/07 Caravan sign up list for San Diego peeps and others!

For all the San Diegans I think it makes more sense to take the 15 up all the way. Let's meet at Toyota Escondido right off the I-15 and 78 freeways. It is an easy on and off. From there we can take the 15 all the way up. If we plan to meet at 9:30-10 and leave right at 10:00 we should be good to arrive at 12:00. I mapquested from Toyota Escondido to Forever Wild, 113 miles.

Hey BoBoNel, thanks for doing this. This should be great for the SD people. I would try to iron out a meeting place soon. I know a lot of the OC guys have CB's in there rigs and I think they use channel 4.

Re: Forever Wild 11/25/07 Caravan sign up list for San Diego peeps and others!

ya know.......i didnt even mapquest/google the area prior to posting......so yes.....it will be easier and smarter to meet and go straight up the 15. i think the toyota dealership would be FUN to meet at and easy on/easy off. lets make that the location.......as for time......i signed up for the 2pm group so i will still go up early to hang out.......
should we say.........

TOYOTA OF ESCONDIDO at 9:15-9:30......on the road by 10!!!!

The meeting spot at Toyota sounds great, but is not convenient for us coming from the Temecula area. Basically a 70 mile round trip to get back to where we started.
We might end up meeting up with the OC group.
