New to SoCal

Hello All: I am going to be relocating my family to the Onterio area and wanted to get opinions on trails and off-roading in that area as well as if any one has suggestions regarding a place to live for a young family. I want to live in an area with easy access to off road rec. and good schools. Any input would be helpful.

Re: New to SoCal

Welcome to SoCal! Ontario is pretty close to Lytle Creek, Cleghorn Trail, Big Bear, and Arrowhead. You are within an hour to those trails. Great location. I'm in Pomona and work in Ontario. Hope to see you on the trails. Check out the SoCal calender for activities.

How old are your kids? You can check out GreatSchools.net for schooling advice.

Happy New Year!

Re: New to SoCal

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I am going to be starting a new job down there in 2 weeks and am kinda excited about getting some experence in the desert as well as south mountains.

Is there any restrictions on rigs or setups that I should know about? Also are there alot of trails which are being closed? I know up North it is a big deal.

Again thanks for the welcome.
