Death Valley anyone? Feb. 23rd-25th.

Just thought i would throw it up over here. I have an FJ that i wheel with a lot and he keeps crying that he wants to wheel with FJ's instead of 4Runners all the time. Haha. Just going to link this thread HERE

If you are down for it, please register at the other site and make sure to post in that thread so its easier to keep track of everything. Hope to see some of you turn out.

Colin

I'm already planning to be there that weekend. I've got Furnace Creek Campground site #77 reserved Fri - Mon. Let's get something setup.

Right On. Most of us will be over in the tent section. You should definitely come out for some trails.

I'm considering a trip there soon. Just curious, why not Saline Valley. No reservations needed, it makes a great base for Steel pass, Eureka dunes, the playa, Lippencot. Plus, take your camera for agin naked hippies.

Hi Jim,

In general, under the SoCal regional forum, you'll see a thread at the top, that's green, and says SoCal Events Calendar. SoCal Events calendar You can see a list of group type get togethers and runs, organized by date, with links to the threads or contact person.

In this case, for the one on this thread, it looks like he's organized it through another forum, and is letting us all know about it here.

In general, if you contact the person organizing the run, they can help you out with where everyone is meeting, what time, etc. It's all usually very relaxed, and you just show up. Sometimes they need to know how many are coming first, so it's a good idea to let the organizer know.

Good luck, hope to see you out there on some runs. Not sure if I'll make this one, but it sounds like fun.

OO, this looks like fun! I'm not sure if I can do 3 days though. I've been wanting to get out there and never had been able to. I'll keep a close eye on this one.

Colin, is this a done deal? I'll put it on the calender if it is. More people can see it that way.

Re: Death Valley anyone? Feb. 23rd-25th.

Yes, this trip is on for sure. All the info needed is at the link i posted, including the planned trails with maps and descriptions.

There has been a bit of interest, but so far only 3 are locked in with campground reservations. Its still a month away, so hopefully by then there are more locked in. It will be a good time for sure. Hopefully some of you guy can make it out.
