Borrego/ Coyote Canyon

Went to Borrego on Monday and did Coyote Canyon. Trip was great! The rock falls were a little tore up and required a spotter and only a few touches to the bottom, thank god for the drain plug protection on the diff. At the third water crossing tha park had a "DEEP WATER WARNING" posted, but it was still well within the FJ's capabilities. Went back to Sheep Canyon, it's really an awsome place. We only saw two motorcyles and a mtn. biker. Great trip for the FJ.
Pictures are in my gallery. Still can't figure out how to move em here.

Re: Borrego/ Coyote Canyon

Sounds fun.

Thats one of my favorite trails.

Size down your photos or post them to the Gallery or a photo service like Flickr, and link them to the thread.

Do a "Search" here on the forum for "How to post photos" or something like that.

Re: Borrego/ Coyote Canyon

For the picture resizing, I LOVE this power toy I got from Microsoft. If you're on a Mac, I guess it should be easier, but I don't know how it could be...

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP

The 'toy' you want is ...

Image Resizer
This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click.

So, you use the file explorer (My Documents/My Pictures) and you do a mouse right-click on the file, select Resize Picture, choose the size, done. It creates a new file in the same folder with the same name, but a (small) or (medium), or other added to the name. If you select a bunch of files, it will do them all. It's awesome.

Talking Re: Borrego/ Coyote Canyon

Coyote Canyon and Sheep Canyon are my favorite places to visit in Anza Borrego. I love camping up there. Next time I go I'm bringing my Telescope and a crate of beer, some chili, and Mr. Rojo. It's such a special place.
