woohoo CB done! THANKS MUD!

so mud came over at 8 and we got done at 9ish! so now i am so ready for trail chat!

i want to thank mud for coming over so late and helping me get this darn thing done... it was nice for the help and chit chat.

BUT when ever i see his rig .. i feel i need more LOL like a remote start! HAHA

so off to solder joint to tune in the morning then ill be on the air waves LOL

ugg ya.. well grandpa is sick in utah... we spend ALLOT of time in utah... and we went for 2 weeks... so i got home yesterday from utah... thats why it took so long

tmaxx...what's your CB setup like?

i picked up similar components to make a "big bill combo." finally ditched the firestick since i wasn't getting any better than 3 swr on 40, closer to 10 on 1 and 19. picked up a stainless steel whip antenna from radio shack, a shade over 60" long, and now i'm at 2.0 swr in all ranges. at least i know it's probably not the ground, or firering. problem is, this antenna can't be tuned.

i don't know yet LOL i will know in a hr ... i am on my way to solder joint for its 1st tunning

and i am running everything in big bill combo with the 4ft fire stick..
