Use Your Cb Over The Radio

some have tried to hook up the CB to the input jack but have noted it just comes out the front drivers dash speaker.

well i was at the Solder Joint today and they made me a cable that converts the mono (CB) to stereo (radio) and it works perfect! i can hear it on all the speakers and adjust the volume with the steering wheel ext.. he did not give me a price on this as mine was a test... but ill keep testing mine... and Solder joint will join the forum soon, then they will be abel to answer all your questions.

all and all you may not want one till you try it... so next run if i go anyone is welcome to give it a listen

ok in case you need pic... i figerd id get some its just like hooking up a ipod tho

If you have an ext. spkr. jack you could wire it to those celing speakers.

yes, but this just plugs into CB then into the input... no cutting drilling soldering ... just plug and use

My Cobra is currently setup like that. You just need a mono (M) to stereo (F) adapter.

oh.... that might not be a bad idea. I was just gonna throw mine out when I did the stereo upgrade. And since I have no Aux input on the replacement HU, there was nothing to run the CB into. Hmmm... I'll try it, something to keep me out of trouble.

Ding Ding! That's correct Tony. You can get these from just about and electronics store or Radio Shack or Best buy. No need to have one custom made
