So, in Auto last night at school, we got on the subject of octanes, and apparently there are a couple stations in the aliso/mission viejo area 93 and 100 octane... WHERE!?
Anyone know? i'd like to see if makes any much of a difference, given 87 feels like my FJ is going to blow the F up.

Thanks in advance
After paying for 100 octans, you might feel like you're going to blow up. Cheap and easy fix-go back to stock tires.

I know from experience vehicles SEEM to be running better. In my younger days, when the biggest motorcycle I could afford was a CB125, that extra octane would get me up to 75 mph, over the 67 for the lesser stuff. woohoo!
Good explanation on why high octane will only have an effect on your checkbook.

Totally agree. Higher test does bubkiss for your ride if it runs fine on a lower test. High test gas is for engines that have higher compression ratios. If you aren't getting knocks, then you're fine. You can't change the compression ratio of your FJ (at least not easily), so run the cheapest stuff that doesn't make the engine knock, i.e. 87.

Like i said i dont plan on using it all the time, I'd just like to try it out. My fuel mileage on 87 is noticeably different than 91. So i'd like to see if i can get mileage boost.
