There may be parts that are closed(I didn't see them) but I was just there this past weekend and it was open...

i don't doubt it. the road to Butler Peak is supposed to be closed all winter, but SavvyAV and i drove it last February in 2+ feet of snow.

I don't even have that. Although I am a few hours from the Smokey Mountains & Blue Ridge Mountains but not nearly enough snow at either location.

Thanks for the info. I know most of the people are going to Mojave but if you are in the Big Bear area and want to do a run with me, just PM me and we can arrange something.

Yeah I will be in Mojave this weekend but where were you last weekend?....I'm sure we'll be going to Big Bear again so keep in touch.....and let me know if you are going again.....you should have at least one other truck in your group cause the snow was DEEP last week!!!
