Re: Adopt a trail?

Here's how my schedule looks over the next 5 or 6 weeks..

4/19 - Meet-n-Greet
4/20 - Open
4/26 - Open
4/27 - Open

5/2 thru 5/4 - Death Valley
5/10 - Open
5/11 - Mother's Day
5/17 - Open
5/18 - Open
5/24 - Brews, Grills, Grindz and Beaches
5/25 - Brews, Grills, Grindz and Beaches Hangover Run (Main Divide)
5/31 - Open

6/1 - Open

If at all possible, let's try and do the scouting run on one of my open days. There's a ton of them so I'm thinking it won't be much of a problem.

Hell, we could even plan an over-nighter if we wanted to.

Sandstormer,

I just noticed you are in Placentia.. My office is off Orangethorpe between Placentia and the 57. I wonder if I've seen you tooling about?

Thanks for joining.

Kokopeli, I've pm'd you. May looks better for me. I'm waiting for Greg to get back to me on which trails are open.

Re: Adopt a trail?

We are continually working toward a trail adoption. If you've enjoyed off roading and woud like to give a little back, this is a great opportunity. We're looking for 4-5 days a year of trail maintenance for the casual participant. There's no money out of pocket. So if you would like to be part of this, please let me know and I'll add you to the list. As we continue to progress, I'll keep you informed.

Thank you guys. We'll start by adopting a fairly low maintenance trail. It will be our first so I want to get a feel for it. We can always expand. Once we can better gauge participation and our ability, maybe we can adopt more trails or longer stretches. Kokopeli, CADavebert, and myself were at a meeting a week ago and it was very exciting. I see great things with our group.
