Re: Adopt a trail?

if we do take 3N59A (that portion that we explored), i'd be down to take 3N98 and 3N99 as well. they're so short, and in the general proximity. that section with the descent we did was actually pretty fun. as Bryan said, we should have climbed back up that hill.

Re: Adopt a trail?

although that trail we took to get back to Coxey through the Hills Have Eyes community was a bit unnerving.

Re: Adopt a trail?

Can you expand a bit on what these "illegal hill climbs" are?

Re: Adopt a trail?

there is no designated trail for motor vehicles...trucks, SUVs, ATVs, dirt bikes to traverse Luna Mountain. it destroys the vegetation, helps to erode the mountain, and based on the steepness of the hill, simply isn't safe. one of the primary goals for a club that were to adopt this section of 3N59A would be to block, or attempt to block access to these climbs.

Re: Adopt a trail?

If we take those trails our goal would be to block the path so the climbs will no longer occur.
