Re: Adopt a trail?

That trail has already been adopted. I'm not sure which trails are open for adoption, but we'll work on that when we have enough interest.

I'd be up to help out anytime I can...Remember though, I am a lifted 2WD and may not be able to get where you 4WD studs go!
Don't underestimate the 2wd! Thanks for volunteering. I'll add you to the list. When it's time to pick, it's going to be really fun!

Re: Adopt a trail?

Tony, If you are really serious about trail adoption, you need to check out the San Bernardino National Forest Adopt a Trail website. The SBNF AAT program is the model for the rest of the country. And if you want to get involved there are meetings every quarter, with the next one on April 16th.
My club 4X4 Freelanders have adopted Pipe's Canyon 1NO1 at the top of Onyx Summit. There is a lot of work involved, and this shouldn't be entered into lightly. If you want give me a call next week when you get back from Mojave.

Remember stay off Soda dry lake if it is wet this weekend.
