Re: SoCal FJ Cruisers Adopt-A-Trail!

Congratulations Socal'er! We're now the proud caretaker of 3N59A and 2N06X! Here's the official word:

Quote:
Hi Tony. Good to hear from ya! The report was excellent!

Thank you for taking on 2N06X. That will be a good challenge for us to get back into shape for reopening. There will be some large scale tree planting operations adjacent to this road this year. We want to make sure the the tree planters don't make any road improvements.

Thanks again.

Sincerely,

Greg.

And as posted on the AAT list:

Quote:
Hi, one of our most popular 4x4 roads has a new club to care for it. The So Cal FJ Cruisers have taken on 2N06X. Located in Lower Larga Flat, this road is located between Holcomb Creek (3N93) and Crab Flats Road (3N16).

The So Cal FJ Cruisers have been working on their adopted road 3N59A (near Bowen's Ranch and Deep Creek) for about a year now. The club has put in many hours and have accomplished a number of restoration projects.

This new adoption will present many new challenges to the club and the USFS. Lots of anticipated road work and clean-up coupled with blocking potential cross country travel in the Butler Fire area.

Thank YOU So Cal FJ Cruisers for stepping up and caring for this road.

You've made some very positive changes to our program.

Greg.
Great job everyone!
