Re: Adopt a trail?

I'm in. Let me know what I can do to help. Have you considered The Miller Jeep Trail as a trail to adopt? Do you think it worthy...

Re: Adopt a trail?

Thanks underthehood and dhawk.

Miller Jeep trail... is it not adopted already? It's such a popular trail that I'm think it probably is. We can check it when we get enough people interested in doing this.

It's adopted. I like the idea, but from where I live, those trails are too far. I might make it to a cleanup, but it would not be a regular trail for me. If anybody is interested in something near Ridgecrest, I'll be up for it.

Re: Adopt a trail?

spertierra, we're only gathering interest at the moment. The ideal trail to adopt is one that's fairly easy to get to, fun, and important to preserve. Once we have enough people, we can go on scouting trips.

Re: Adopt a trail?

I'm thinking we should have at least 10 people any turn out. If we have a 30% attendance, that means we'll need 30 people interested.

Come on people. As Tony is saying, he's expecting there to be a 30% group that is regular, and others in and out. Even if you don't think you can commit the time, all the time, please join our ranks.
