SoCal FJ Cruisers Adopt-A-Trail!

I think it's time we unite and step up to adopt a trail. This means we'll have to work a few times a year and do some grunt work to maintain the trail.

Does this interest you? With trail adoption will come with some perks (keys, access, etc.). If you enjoy the trails in socal and want to do something to make sure they stay open, this is a good chance to do that.

Please contact Mattmainster via PM or email and let him know you need access. This way you can get the latest news and be more involved in planning. Also he can give you access to the socalfjcruisforums' special section (SoCal FJ Adopt a Trail Program (AAT))

I will need you to send me your full name, phone number, and city of residence. I need this for safety reasons and also to get you covered in insurance.

Thanks!

Re: Adopt a trail?

Count me in! That is one of the reasons I like to do the Calico cleanup and the Tin Benders Jamboree (Johnson Valley Cleanup). I feel we owe it to our offroad community and it is a good example to our kids.

Re: Adopt a trail?

If you guys missed the Lytle Creek run, we were fortunate to have a ranger open up a locked trail and personally escorted us to the backside of the Baldy resort. It's a locked year round so it was a real treat.

When you adopt a trail, you can take pride in knowing that you've done something good and that you've made a difference. Not to mention it's always fun to get together. What a great excuse!

Re: Adopt a trail?

That was definitely a fun run and it would be a great trail to pursue for adoption.
I know the ranger dropped the ball, but I say keep on trying!

Re: Adopt a trail?

I'd be up to help out anytime I can...Remember though, I am a lifted 2WD and may not be able to get where you 4WD studs go!
